This brand new course offers the opportunity to study and develop knowledge and expertise in a specialist area of imaging according to personal interest and aspirations; the course also gives students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in a number of techniques and approaches in both medical and materials imaging; the students have access to modern facilities and to world leading researchers in the field and on completion of the course, are qualified to pursue a career in related industries or undertake PhD research; on this course participants can gain skills in experimental lab techniques, optical techniques, writing scientific and research literature and the theory behind the practical focus.
