Students spend half of their time in clinical practice gaining experience and working with individuals, families and communities; students have the opportunity to study nursing overseas, or in alternative UK setting, as an elective placement; on successful completion of the course applicants are eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a nurse.
