This course has been designed for participants who interested in furthering their performance skills and deepening their knowledge of the contemporary theatre scene. Topics include: introduction to performance, study skills, professional development and work based learning, arguments for a theatre, skills development and techniques for contemporary theatre performance and performance techniques.   Year 2 units include professional development and work based learning, industry project, performance techniques and a special subject for contemporary theatre performance.Students with the appropriate level of qualification may progress to a one-year Honours degree Top-Up (level H); there may be progression locally to the 3rd year Hons degree BA Performing Arts at Winchester University, or employment in a range of performance-related activities.

IELTS Statement - If English is not your first language, a minimum of IELTS (Academic) 6.0, or TOEFL 550 (paper based), or TOEFL 80 is normally required. A telephone interview may also be necessary.
