पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
The programme comprises 3 main themes: Actions and uses of drugs and medicines, chemical and physical aspects of pharmacy, pharmacy profession and practice; in years 1 and 2 module relevant to each theme is undertaken in each semester; also study of essential transferable skills and introduced to pharmacy profession and practice; in year 3 modules aimed at developing an appreciation and understanding of the action of and strategies for medicines use in humans; also research project in semester 2 is preceded by research methods module; year 4 is divided between scientific and professional and practice elements of pharmacy; 1 element concentrates on modern drug delivery systems, manufacture and testing of medicines, and cancer management and therapy; a 2nd element is focused on clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, and current topics in pharmacy.
