The course is aimed at unpublished songwriters wishing to develop to a professional level, or published songwriters wishing to achieve academic accreditation and develop creatively; the teaching staff, many of whom are published songwriters, analyse existing repertoire with a focus on song crafting techniques; students write songs throughout the course and develop their own voice.
