Each language is studied equally in the 1st year, including spoken and written language, oral classes with native speakers, comprehension and grammar work, linguistic, cultural, literary and historical subjects; in the 2nd year, an equal weighting between the 2 can be maintained, or students can devote more time to 1 language; the 3rd year is spent abroad, with the year either divided equally between the 2 languages, or the whole academic year spent in a country where 1 is spoken.
