This course has been designed with the assistance of employer organisations in sport across Staffordshire; this course blends the academic and practical aspects of sport development and coaching.

Modules include: Study skills; contemporary issues in sports development and coaching; sports coaching; research project; sports development organisation and policy; working in sport; multi skills and community sport; sporting events management; health and fitness; future in sport; additional skills: Students are offered the opportunity to gain level 1 and 2 coaching awards in street sports and multi skills sports alongside basic first aid and criminal record bureau (CRB) checks.
