Students have a close link with the University of Cambridge's Department of Veterinary Medicine; there are a number of scientific areas covered and the research programme focuses on 7 main areas: allergic and inflammatory conditions; animal oncology; cardio-respiratory function and disease; epidemiology of infectious and non-infectious disease; infectious diseases; inherited diseases; musculoskeletal injury and disease; close integration between clinical and research activities allows proper appraisal and validation of new techniques and ensures application of latest advances for treatment; in addition to the course fee students may have to pay a college fee.
