Year 1: Anatomy and physiology; foundations of veterinary nursing theory; foundations of veterinary nursing practice; first aid and pharmacy; and tool kit for health studies. Year 2: Animal science; animal pathology; moral and ethical issues; research; an elective module; radiography and anaesthesia; developing veterinary nursing theory and practice modules. Year 3: Research and evidence based practice; an elective module; developing veterinary nursing practice; medical nursing; surgical nursing and diagnostic aids. Year 4: Pharmacology; research project; 2 elective option modules from a small selection such as advanced medical and advanced surgical options.
