This course is aimed at students who wish to develop a career in wildlife conservation. It provides a unique combination of academic study with hands-on training and experience in wildlife, conservation and ecology. You will be taught through a mixture of study both at the University of Chester and in the zoo-licensed facilities at Reaseheath. The course includes specialist modules and practical experience and they will gain skills such as radio tracking, species identification, live trapping techniques, reintroduction to natural habitat, wildlife documentary, photography and film production and biodiversity. Work in the field will expand your knowledge of conservation, ecology and wildlife, and there is opportunity for dissertation work in the final year, which allows you to work on relevant unique research projects.

Students must have a minimum of 240 UCAS points of which 180-200 must be obtained from either A Levels including at least a Grade C in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Human Biology, Science or Psychology if combined with either AS Level Biology or Human Biology.
