The Master’s program is designed to give students a breadth of economic experience in both macroeconomics and microeconomics, with an emphasis on mathematics, but with enough flexibility in course requirements to allow the students to pursue their own areas of academic interest. In addition to a variety of Master’s level courses, students in the program are welcome to enroll in doctoral level courses in Economics, with permission from the instructor, and other related departments such as Political Science, Public Policy, Finance, Statistics, and Mathematics as part of developing the student’s personalized program of study.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution and, for degree programs, satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). International applicants must have minimum TOEFL score of 83 (internet-based test) or a minimum IELTS score of 7.0.
