This program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities in computer and web development fields. It provides a general education background in graphic design and specialty courses in web development. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that there will be rapid growth for fields involving computers, networks, communication and Internet. This degree plan covers all of these areas. Web development is projected to be one of the fastest growing employment areas for the future.

Applicants must have completed high school core curriculum requirements such as four units in English - grammar, composition and literature, three units in mathematics - algebra I and above, two units in history- must include one unit of American history, two units in lab science - biology, chemistry, physics or any lab science certified by the school district, one unit in citizenship skills - economics, geography, government, non-western culture, three units in other - additional units of subjects above and/or from computer science and/or foreign language. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited high school or should have earned a General Education Diploma (GED). In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based), or 61 (internet-based); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0.
