This program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities. It provides a general education background in computers forensics investigations. Computer forensics is a branch of digital forensic science pertaining to legal evidence found in computers and digital storage media. The goal of computer forensics is to examine digital media in a forensically sound manner with the aim of identifying, preserving, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions about the information.

Applicants must have completed high school core curriculum requirements such as four units in English - grammar, composition and literature, three units in mathematics - algebra I and above, two units in history- must include one unit of American history, two units in lab science - biology, chemistry, physics or any lab science certified by the school district, one unit in citizenship skills - economics, geography, government, non-western culture, three units in other - additional units of subjects above and/or from computer science and/or foreign language. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited high school or should have earned a General Education Diploma (GED). In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based), or 61 (internet-based); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0.
