This program develops competence in the knowledge and skills required for radiologic imaging. The integrated curriculum includes 24 hours of general studies credit and 54 hours of radiologic technology credits. The curriculum incorporates both didactic and clinical education components. Students have the advantage of practicing most radiographic procedures and film processing during lab sessions in the energized laboratory and darkroom on campus, as well as taking part in direct patient contact during the clinical components of the program. Its faculties encourages graduates to practice the concept of life long learning by continuing their education, whether it be in a formal or informal manner. Graduates have opportunities for additional on-the-job training in other modalities such as CT, MRI, and Special Procedures.
