The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is one of six departments and schools in the College of Health and Public Affairs. The department currently enrolls 418 bachelors and 185 master’s level majors. With 26 full-time and numerous affiliated faculty members, the department offers students a broad range of academic programs, comprehensive clinical experiences, and ongoing research opportunities in human communication sciences and disorders.

There are various housing options to suit individual needs such as on-campus housing, off-campus university-affiliated housing, local off-campus apartment housing and family home-rooming, when available. UCF's on-campus housing consists of suite-style residence halls and apartment-style residence halls. All on-campus housing is wired for internet service, fully carpeted, fully air-conditioned, and offers housekeeping service that cleans the bathrooms once a week.
