Students must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized University. A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is preferred, but students with a B.S. degree in one of the sciences are often accepted. They should have a minimum of the following math and science coursework prior to admission: three semesters of calculus, one semester of differential equations, one semester of calculus-based physics and one semester of chemistry and have a satisfactory score on the Graduate Record Examination general (aptitude) section are also required. International students should have a minimum acceptable TOEFL score of 80 on the internet based, 213 on the computer based, 550 on the paper based and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
