This program prepares the student to perform the basic functions of management including planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. Students also develop skills enabling them to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; develop and apply business ethics in managerial decision making; analyze and perform accounting operations; recognize and apply legal principles as they relate to business crimes, torts, and contracts; apply the principles of economics to business; and apply the principles of human resource management to the development of a competent business staff. This program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Students must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. They must participate in placement testing prior to acceptance. International students must fulfill English language requirements by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 500 (paper version), 190 (computerized version) or 61 (internet based version).
