This program prepares the student to perform the basic marketing functions including advertising, personal sales, public relations and sales promotion. The student will also develop the skills necessary to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; recognize patterns of consumer behavior; develop and apply basic market planning techniques; and have a general understanding of fundamental business operations, including accounting, computer applications and economic principles. This program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Students must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. They must participate in placement testing prior to acceptance. International students must fulfill English language requirements by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 500 (paper version), 190 (computerized version) or 61 (internet based version).
