The Program provides support and augment the technical capabilities of many fields that involve animal care, including private veterinary practice, biomedical research, herd health management, teaching, zoological parks, and government services. Under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian, a technician may perform a variety of duties including: intensive nursing care, clinical laboratory procedures, radiology, anesthesiology, dentistry, and surgical assistance.

Applicants must submit the following materials for admission: completed application, the results of standardized tests and official transcripts from all prior high school, college, distance-learning work, SAT Reasoning Test , SAT Subject Tests, ACT and TOEFL. The required scores is TOFEL Paper-based -500 or above, Computer-based -173 or above, Internet-based - 61 and IELTS is 6.
