This Program is designed to prepare students for a career as a sign language interpreter for persons who are deaf, or hard of hearing. This program emphasizes the acquisition of American Sign Language, the appreciation of deaf culture and the process of interpreting and transliterating. This degree option will provide a seamless transfer to Oklahoma State University, BA in English with an American Sign Language Studies option.

Applicants must submit the following materials for admission: completed application, the results of standardized tests and official transcripts from all prior high school, college, distance-learning work, SAT Reasoning Test , SAT Subject Tests, ACT and TOEFL. The required scores is TOFEL Paper-based -500 or above, Computer-based -173 or above, Internet-based - 61 and IELTS is 6.
