This program begins with the fundamental principles of criminal law, policing, investigation, the penal system, juvenile justice, domestic violence and more. Students will learn about criminal procedure, the Constitution, private security, ethics in criminal justice, special issues in incarceration, parole and probation, report writing and more. The program is comprised of twenty comprehensive courses with clear, logical lessons. They are easy to follow, yet challenging and stimulating at the same time. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, and an introductory note from the instructor.

Applicants must have successfully completed an accredited high school diploma program or earned the G.E.D., supported by official transcripts. Home schooled students must provide a portfolio. As soon as students are accepted to the program the transcripts should be received in order to maintain the student status.
