This program prepares students for preprofessional assistant level employment in the field of interior design or transfer to a four-year institution. The preparation of creative graphic and oral presentations is emphasized. Internships and Cooperative Education are available to students as an additional means of receiving a hands-on learning experience related to interior design.

To gain admission, students are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and achieve a minimum score of 500 (standard test) or 173 (computer-based test). All International students who are admitted to HCC will be required to take the College's Academic Skills Assessment.
