This program prepares student-professionals to work with young children in a variety of private and public care and educational settings. This program of study focuses on the fundamentals of early childhood development and the methodologies of planning and implementing programs designed to promote healthy development in children from birth to five years of age. Completion of this degree does not qualify graduates for teaching licensure or certification.

Students must have completed high school diploma or recognized equivalent such as a GED certificate or secondary school through home schooling as defined by state law. They should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 520 with TWE of 4.0 on paper-based test, 190 on computer-based test; reading - 21, writing - 23, speaking - 10, listening - 14 on internet-based test and IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0.
