This program presents the major components of the criminal justice system, including criminal behavior, law enforcement organizations and systems, legal principles and fundamentals of criminal investigation. This program serves the challenging professional growth and career needs of each element of the criminal justice system as well as providing a step up the ladder for students who plan to continue toward a bachelor’s degree. It Develop students’ understanding of the criminal justice system and identify and analyze institutions, laws, theories, and players that make up the criminal justice system.

Students for an associate or bachelor’s program must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. ACT or SAT scores are not required. Students for whom English is a second language must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and have their official TOEFL score report. Students with non-U.S. educational credentials must first obtain foreign credentials evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators. Written permission from a legal guardian is required for admission of a person under legal age.
