This program enables students to pursue a broad range of jobs that emphasize cross-cultural awareness, international contacts and management of cultural resources; for example: education, human and governmental services, law, business, media, and medicine. anthropology will help them succeed in an increasingly interconnected and complex world. Job titles of Anthropology graduates are diverse, and include the following: analyst; community development specialist; consultant; cross-cultural communicator; ecotourism director; information officer; multicultural program leader; peace corps volunteer; program assistant; research assistant; teacher; trainer; travel consultant; writer, editor.

Students must have an excellent academic record (a minimum 3. 0 on a 4.0 scales or "B" grade average or equivalent) from an accredited or recognized institution to be admitted to Oregon State University. Students should have obtained minimum TOEFL for Regular Admission score of 527 on the paper-based test, 71 on the Internet based-test and for Conditional Admission score of 475 on the paper-based test, 53 on the Internet based-test. Students should have minimum IELTS for Regular Admission score of 6.0 and for Conditional Admission score of 5.0.
