This program provides the necessary preparation for early childhood educators who wish to advance their professional knowledge and career opportunities with specialized study in curriculum, administration or family support. A strong desire to work in an early care and education setting with children and their families is important. Graduates of the program have a competitive advantage when applying for positions of greater responsibility and compensation and meet the National Association for the Education of Young Childrens' standards. Students can complete the degree with the following concentrations: Administration, Curriculum and Teaching, Family Support.

Applicant should have a high school diploma and pass the 16-credit high school core curriculum with a GPA of at least 2.5. They should have a high school GPA of at least 3.0, or a high school GPA of at least 2.5 and ACT composite score of at least 18 or SAT total score of at least 1290 (including writing skills section). Applicant must have TOEFL with a minimum score of 213 (computer exam), 550 (paper exam) or 79 (Internet-based exam); or IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5. A score from the TOEFL or IELTS is required and cannot be waived even though English may be the language of instruction in their educational system.
