Anthropologists study almost everything that has to do with being human and we do this from a comparative perspective. This program offers a broad range of courses dealing with human evolution, the culture of peoples from around the world and through time, human adaptation, both biological and cultural, as well as archaeology. In addition to class room and laboratory courses, it offers summer field schools which allow undergraduates to learn first hand about doing anthropology. Some of the undergraduates are working as archaeologists for private firms that specialize in archaeological survey as part of an environmental impact evaluation. Some use their background in social science effectively in the business world. Many have gone on to graduate study in anthropology as well as law and medicine.

The modules include 303 Cultural Anthropology; 304 Biological Anthropology; 305 Archaeology; 409 Anthropological Theory.

Applicants who have completed 12 years of primary and secondary school and received a high school diploma or the equivalent may be admitted if at least one of the following criteria is met: high/secondary school diploma with a minimum 3.20 Grade Point Average (no SAT or ACT entrance exam required unless applying for Academic Excellence Scholarship); high/secondary school diploma with a minimum 2.50 Grade Point Average and a score of 760 or above on the SAT Entrance Exam or 16 and above on the ACT Entrance Exam; high/secondary school diploma with a class rank in the top 50% and a score of 760 on the SAT Entrance Exam or 16 and above on the ACT Entrance Exam; high/secondary school diploma with a minimum 2.00 Grade Point Average and a score of 860 or above on the SAT Entrance Exam or 18 and above on the ACT Entrance Exam. Applicants whose native language is not English should have a minimum TOEFL score of 79-80 in internet based or 213 in computer based or 550 in paper based (or) IELTS score of 6
