स्थानबारे जानकारी
The Department of Theatre is dedicated to the training of excellent theater artists and production of internationally acclaimed theatrical productions. Theater students at UMD benefit from a level of faculty experience and connections that are unparalleled in higher education, and unlike many theater programs, they do not compete with graduate students for production opportunities, and leave UMD with portfolios and resumes far more extensive than the average undergraduate student. The Department classes and productions take place in the Marshall Performing Arts Center (MPAC), which includes a 715-seat flexible thrust/proscenium theater, a black-box experimental theater, fully-equipped scene, welding, and costume shops, computerized lighting control, a digital and analogue recording studio, and studio space for acting, dance and design.
