This program focus on integrative physiology at several levels of organization from molecules to living organisms, microscopic structures to macroscopic organization, and cellular properties to organ functions. Students receive comprehensive instruction in all areas of physiological science, while elective courses reflect faculty research expertise, including developmental neurobiology, gene regulation/neural development, cellular neurobiology, molecular neurobiology, neuromuscular physiology, neuroendocrine physiology, cardiac physiology, diet and degenerative disease, auditory and visual behavior, biomechanics of rehabilitative medicine, muscle cell biology, inflammatory cell biology, vascular biology, cardiac electro physiology, neuromotor control, and social control of neuronal plasticity.

Students must have completed secondary school and have not enrolled in a regular session at any college or university. They must have completed secondary school with a superior average in academic subjects and have earned a certificate of completion which enables the student to be admitted to a university in the home country. Students who have attended school under the British system must present five GCSE/Ordinary-Level examinations and at least three Advanced-Level examinations with superior grades. Results of Advanced-Supplementary or Higher-Level exams should also be submitted. They must have taken scores in ACT assessment plus the new ACT writing test or SAT reasoning test or subject test in English (literature), history/social studies, mathematics (level 2), science and languages (other than English). Applicants whose native language is not in English must have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 83 or higher on the Internet-based test, 220 or higher on the computer-based test, 550 or higher on the paper-based test and International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7 or higher on the academic module is required for admission.
