स्थानबारे जानकारी
Psychology is the scientific study of memory, stress, psychotherapy, love, persuasion, hypnosis, perception, death, conformity, creativity, conditioning, personality, aging, intelligence, sexuality, emotion, and more. The subject matter of psychology is the behavior and experience of human beings and other organisms. While some psychologists are engaged in research to further our understanding of behavior, many are involved in applying the principles developed in the laboratory and field studies to human problems. As the complexity of society increases, psychological knowledge takes on a more and more important role - in courts, in classrooms, in legislatures, in prisons, in boardrooms, and behind sales counters, in clinics, and in hospitals.

Living on campus provides convenient access to college resources such as the library and computer labs, as well as student activities such as intramurals and college organizations and clubs. Somers Hall is centrally located on campus and houses the green view dining room, Somers Main Lounge, the Office of Residential Life, Health Services, the Campus Operator, and the fourth floor Penthouse lounge/study area. Grove Apartments is at ground level, and residents have appreciated the accessibility. With a sort of retro taste, the Grove apartments are spacious and quite affordable. Pine, Maple, Willow, or Birch apartments are nearly identical. Each building is three stories with four units on each floor. Pine apartments were built in 1973 and newly renovated during the summer of 2003. Maple and Willow were built in 1989, and Birch was added in 1990. Located among the trees beyond Tower Hall, these apartments are ideal for students in their Senior, Junior, or even sophomore year. They are but a short walk from class and provide both privacy and a sense of community. Cedar hall apartments provide apartment housing for sophomore, junior and senior students. Cedar Hall units house four students and include a living room, two good-sized bedrooms, kitchen, dining area and full bath. Scanlon Hall and Kerst Hall provide apartment housing for junior and senior students. Nestled in the woods, these facilities offer units that house four students and include a living room, two or four good-sized bedrooms, kitchen, dining area and full bath.
