पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
Students must demonstrate competence in the fundamentals of English grammar by successfully completing ENGL 207 or by passing an exemption examination. They should satisfy this requirement as early as possible. The exemption examination must be taken no later than the end of the first semester in which students enroll for any course to be included in the English major or minor. Students who have not attempted the examination by the end of their first semester will not be permitted further enrollment towards the major or minor. Failure to pass the exemption examination on the first attempt necessitates that a student successfully complete ENGL 207.

Students should possess High School Diploma and should have GPA score of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 (USA) scale or be in the upper-half of their graduating class. Applicants who have a GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or are in the upper-half of the class must have ACT composite score of at least 19 and SAT score of 870-900. Applicants who have 2.50 on a 4.00 scale or are in the upper two-thirds of the class must have ACT composite score of at least 23 and SAT score of 1030-1050. Students should have TOEFL scores which includes 527 on a paper based test, 197 on computer-based test or 71 on an internet based test. IELTS Score includes 6.0. Students need not submit TOEFLE/IELTS score, if they can prove English is recognized as their countries' native language and if they have attended a US High School for more than 1 year.
