This program is to prepare students for challenges in the workplace related to managing and developing people. This includes those interested in HR careers as well as those who desire to improve their ability to solve problems, improve processes and enhance the effectiveness of people in organizations. In addition to developing competencies in key HR activities (staffing; training and development; performance management; compensation and benefits; legal compliance), the student will develop important skills in critical thinking, problem solving, technology and business communication.

Students must present an official transcript for all previous college work or an official high school transcript. Students should also have been out of high school for at least five years. They must have 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in previous college work and have completed three years of full-time employment. An adult who has worked full-time inside the home will also fulfill this requirement. Applicants whose primary language is not English should have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 560 is required for admission.
