This program offers students the opportunity to study religion in ways not found at other universities. Students will learn about many of the major religious traditions of the world and investigate how theories of religion can help interpret the religious phenomena that surround us. Moreover, students learn about religion through observation of local religious communities, through service-learning, and through the development of excellent writing skills.

Students should have a minimum TOEFL score of 525 for PBT, 70 for IBT, or a 6.0 on the IELTS, with no less than 5.5 on any individual band scores. Students who have completed, or will complete, a U.S.-style secondary/high school program, who have completed, or will complete, a Canadian-style secondary/high school program, either in Canada or overseas, students wishing to be considered for athletic scholarship and wishing to be considered for merit-based scholarships are strongly encouraged to have SAT or ACT results. Students who have met the English proficiency requirements are strongly encouraged to attend an interview.
