This program is to prepare students for challenges in the workplace related to managing and developing people. This includes those interested in a wide variety of careers in business. These include people who desire to improve their ability to solve problems, improve processes and enhance the effectiveness of people in organizations. Graduates of the BA in Administration have a solid business degree, but also one that allows them to specialize in an interest area by completing a minor. Finally, this degree allows students with transfer credit to have that experience valued by inclusion in this degree program.

Students must present an official transcript for all previous college work or an official high school transcript. Students should also have been out of high school for at least five years. They must have 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in previous college work and have completed three years of full-time employment. An adult who has worked full-time inside the home will also fulfill this requirement. Applicants whose primary language is not English should have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 560 is required for admission.
