This major provides students with an education in art, design, and technology to develop the basic skills needed to perform the standard phases of animation: conceptualization, modeling and construction, texturing, animation, digital cinematography, and post production. The program combines traditional and digital skills. Minimum requirements for admission to the School of Communication and the Arts include: the completion of forty-five (45) credits at the 100- and/or 200-level; an overall grade point average of 2.50 (A = 4.00) in all coursework attempted. Minimum required TOEFL score for admission: Written - 577, Computer - 233 and Internet - 90.
