This program is designed to provide the background necessary for graduates to find employment in companies that manufacture and use paints, coatings, rubber, plastics, polymers, adhesives and inks, or in companies that manufacture raw materials for these industries. Students completing this curriculum have met the major and minor requirements for graduation. No outside minor is needed.

Applicants should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 173 (CBT) and 500 (PBT), or MELAB score of 72, or IELTS score of 6.0. ACT or SAT test scores may waive the English proficiency test requirement; the English sub score or critical reasoning sub score must be at least 19 or 430, respectively.
