This program is interdisciplinary in nature, combining specialized studies in music and business with a core of general liberal arts and sciences. Graduates are prepared to pursue a wide variety of career possibilities in the music industry and related fields. Due to the diverse nature of the music industry and the possible career tracks of the students, the Music Business major at Montreat College is distinguished by exceptional flexibility. Students have the capability to craft a curriculum that is relevant to their own needs and interests.

International applicants must be a graduate of a secondary school system or the equivalent and must have sufficient proficiency in the English language so they are able to study at the college level. A minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 (pbt), 173 (cbt), or 61 (ibt) or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of 6 is required. International applicants may also elect to submit an official Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score or American College Testing (ACT) score.
