This program was co-designed by employers and industry professionals to fill jobs in the manufacturing world that require a four-year degree. The content of the degree program allows students to improve upon their manufacturing and management experiences while also helping to create new skills for the present and future. It is ideal for transfer students with A.S. and A.A.S. degrees, incoming freshman, and graduates currently working in manufacturing.

Program Requirements include Liberal Education Requirements which covers COMP 1011 - Composition I, COMMUNICAT (3.0 cr), COMP 1013 - Composition II, COMMUNICAT (3.0 cr), ECON 2101 - Microeconomics, HI/BEH/SSC (3.0 cr), MATH 1031 - College Algebra, MATH THINK (3.0 cr), MATH 1150 - Elementary Statistics, MATH THINK (3.0 cr), SPCH 1101 - Public Speaking, COMMUNICAT (3.0 cr). Manufacturing Management Core include ACCT 2101 - Principles of Accounting I (3.0 cr), BM 3012 - Applied Engineering Principles (3.0 cr), BM 3034 - Quality Management Systems (3.0 cr), MGMT 3200 - Principles of Management (3.0 cr), MGMT 3210 - Supervision and Leadership (3.0 cr), MKTG 3300 - Principles of Marketing (3.0 cr).

UMC does not hold a minimum score requirement for the ACT/SAT or for high school GPA. Admission decisions are based on an assessment of indicators for success at UMC. Students must possess High school coursework, Grade Point Average (minimum 2.0 or above preferred), ACT/SAT test scores (minimum 21 ACT or SAT equivalent), Other indicators of academic potential.
