In this program the students receive a rigorous program in physics and mathematics with provision for study of another science or branch of engineering. Students receiving a degree in applied physics may find employment in laboratories or in industry where interdisciplinary training is of particular importance or, if qualified, they may continue with graduate studies.

Students must have a 2.75 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) for admitting into College of Engineering or School of Technology, 2.5 for other programs and schools, a minimum 550 PBT, 213 CBT, 79 iBT (paper-based, computer-based, internet-based) in TOEFL or 690 in TOEIC or 6.5 overall band score in IELTS, minimum 420 writing, 500 critical reading, (550 Math/Quantitative) in SAT 1.
