This course develops an understanding of human learning, emotions, and behaviors that are designed around the American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines for the undergraduate psychology major. Students will also learn skills in research, writing, problem solving, and synthesizing and evaluating information which are valued in a wide range of professions beyond psychology. Successful graduates of this program are prepared to continue their studies at the graduate level or pursue careers in a variety of fields that employ psychological knowledge and skills including public service, law enforcement, business, sales, market research, health care and social services.

The modules includes BIO1000 - Human Biology, ENG1000 - English Composition, MAT2001 - Statistical Reasoning, PHI2000 – Ethics, PSYC1000 - Introduction to Psychology. Core Courses (each course 6 quarter credits unless noted) are Developing a Psychology Perspective PSYC3002, Human Lifespan Development PSYC3210, Learning and Cognition PSYC3500, Introduction to Social Psychology PSYC3520, Culture, Ethnicity, and Diversity PSYC3540, History and Modern Systems of Psychology PSYC4100, Biological Psychology PSYC4310, Research Methods in Psychology PSYC4600 and Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences PSYC4700. Specialization modules include: Human Biology BIO1000, English Composition ENG1000, Statistical Reasoning MAT2001, Ethics PHI2000 and Introduction to Psychology PSYC1000. Elective module is choosing 63 quarter credits of additional undergraduate courses. Capstone module to be taken in the final quarter is Psychology Capstone Project 6 quarter credits PSYC4900.

Students must have completed high school diploma or equivalent. They must be at least 24 years old. International students whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum acceptable score of 550 on paper-based test, 213 on computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or 79 on internet based examination; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) score of 80; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 6.5; or Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 59.
