The degree consists of two concentrations – the clinical concentration (traditional) and the molecular biotechnology concentration. A student may choose either option or both. (Completing both concentrations will require approximately 1 additional semester).

Students should have an official college transcript and three letters of recommendation, two of which should be from basic science instructors, must accompany the application materials, at least a 2.3 grade-point average (GPA) in basic sciences (biology, chemistry, microbiology, physics) and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Additionally, students must have earned a grade of C or better in all required science prerequisites.
