This program of study is designed to prepare individuals to teach technical (trades and industry) subjects in career/technical education and vocational education programs in various training settings, including high schools, community/technical colleges, business and industry, departments of corrections, and private schools. It includes instructions in designing and developing instructional programs; and delivering and evaluating instructions in a career/technical education or vocational industrial education setting.

The modules are as follows: Area I: Written Communication; Area II: Humanities and Fine Arts; Area III: Science and Mathematics; Area IV: History, Behavioral and Social Sciences; Area V: AAMU Requirements: College Orientation and Health or Physical Fitness elective; TED 302 Course Development and Evaluation in Career/Technical Education; TED 402 Learning Resources and Technology in Career/Technical Education; TED 404 Classroom/Laboratory Management in Career/Technical Education; TED 406 Methods of Teaching in Career and Technical Education; TED 409 Special Needs in Career and Technical Education; INT 206 Computer Applications in Technology Management; INT 340 Principles of Occupational Safety and Health; TED 407 Career/Technical Student Organizations; TED 410 Principles and Objectives of Career and Technical Education; TED 403 Career Information and Guidance; TED 421 Tests and Assessments in Technical Education; TED 450 Practicum; TED 301 Introduction to Technical Education.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students must have earned a passing GED score. They should have all their official transcripts. They must have maintained a grade point average of “C” in core courses; they must have earned five passes on a national or a local examination; and must have attained a minimum score of 500 in TOEFL. Students who are 26 years or elder are exempt from college entrance examinations. They must have a score of 18 either in ACT or equivalent in SAT which should be sent directly to the Office of Admissions, Alabama A and M University.
