This program provides a strong environmental science background and broadens the scope by adding social, political, philosophical, and theological aspects. The program integrates a liberal arts education with a Christ-centered perspective and application to environmental issues, conflict resolution, and management. The Pre-professional Concentration offers academic excellence in a wide range of courses for students going on to graduate studies in the health and science professions. The alumni can go on to study applied technology (env. consulting), biochemistry, ecological research, environmental genetics, environmental sciences and engineering, medical research, medicine, nursing, physioecology, toxicology, and veterinary science.

International applicants must be a graduate of a secondary school system or the equivalent and must have sufficient proficiency in the English language so they are able to study at the college level. A minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 (pbt), 173 (cbt), or 61 (ibt) or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of 6 is required. International applicants may also elect to submit an official Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score or American College Testing (ACT) score.
