This program has flexibility that will allow the student to change into another option without losing credits. Choose courses in molecular and biochemical techniques, physiology, organismal biology, ecology and evolutionary biology, field experience, laboratory techniques. If the student have a broad interest in the biological sciences and a curiosity about how individual organisms function and interact with other living things and the environment, this option is for them. They will have career opportunities in government and industry. Additional opportunities exist in secondary education, graduate school, or professional school.

Students must have a 2.75 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) for admitting into College of Engineering or School of Technology, 2.5 for other programs and schools, a minimum 550 PBT, 213 CBT, 79 iBT (paper-based, computer-based, internet-based) in TOEFL or 690 in TOEIC or 6.5 overall band score in IELTS, minimum 420 writing, 500 critical reading, (550 Math/Quantitative) in SAT 1.
