The department of Clinical Science, Respiratory Care, and Health Care System Administration offers different programs. As the health care industry continues to grow and expand, the demand for health information technicians also increases. Employment is expected to grow faster than average through the year 2008 because of the rapid growth in tests, treatments and procedures available. Many graduates are employed in hospitals, but job growth is projected to be greatest in physicians' offices and clinics, nursing homes and home health agencies.

The University provides five on-campus dining facilities, one of which is the award-winning, race car-themed Mascar Grille. Mascar was created with help from out Automotive department and alumni, including the publisher of the magazine Inside NASCAR. Ferris State University offers a number of residence hall options to accommodate student’s preferences. All Ferris residence halls are completely smoke free. All rooms have connections for 100 MB Internet and cable television. A phone with voicemail is also included in each room. Each floor in all halls is equipped with laundry facilities as well as a small kitchenette.
