The residence halls have modern, simply furnished, air-conditioned rooms suitable for either single or double occupancy. Cable jacks in each room are also active in case they choose to bring their own television. Wireless access is available in floor lounges and dining areas. Laundry facilities, vending and ice machines are located in most buildings. Lounges provide televisions and a casual social area. For the comfort of all guests, all campus buildings are smoke-free. Typically, men and women are housed on separate floors with shared bath facilities for each gender. Bathrooms are spacious with separate individual showers and dressing areas for privacy. Food service is popular and convenient. Students can choose from a variety of dining rooms, carryout stores, delis, coffee houses, and even delivery services. And they are constantly increasing the selections of organic, vegetarian, vegan, and kosher foods. Residents pay only for the food they select (a meal plan is not required) using their Housing Food debit account, which is part of the student ID card (Wiscard).
