This program stresses broad knowledge and effective communication skills while providing a background in language and literature, history, the social sciences, and the arts. Graduates with a degree in humanities are found in many fields, including advertising, business, communications, government service, public relations, publishing, and teaching. It is designed to deepen students’ intellectual development, and also provides a strong foundation for those who want to pursue advanced degrees in areas such as anthropology, business administration, history, journalism, law, linguistics, and literature.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students must have completed high school diploma or GED equivalent. The high school course work includes algebra one and two; one semester of trigonometry, pre-calculus or senior math; two semesters of chemistry and physics. They should have a recomputed overall GPA of 2.0 or better in individual academic subjects. They must possess American College Test (ACT) or Standard Achievement Test (SAT) scores. International students must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test or a score of 6.0 on IELTS (International English Language Testing System). If a student does not want to take the TOEFL or did not pass the TOEFL, they have an option to complete ESL courses at LTU.
