This program is designed for teacher assistants and instructional paraprofessionals who are currently in practice, have earned an associate degree (or its equivalent), and wish to enter the teaching force. Graduates of the program receive a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and the preparation for initial licensure, according to Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education state guidelines.

International applicants must have TOEFL passing score of 223 on the computer-based test, 563 on the paper based test, 84 on the Internet -based test, or a passing score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). This requirement is waived if students SAT critical reading score /ACT equivalent is at least 550.
