This program prepares beginning practitioners to assume a variety of roles in different settings. Admitted students take 60 credits of concentrated nursing courses in residence at Downstate and transfer in 65 credits to qualify for the BS degree.The program also provides a sequence of professional nursing development that proceeds from (1) understanding the theoretical basis for professional nursing practice; to (2) acquiring knowledge and skills for professional nursing practice; to (3) applying knowledge and skills to the practice of nursing.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Student must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. All pre requisites must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. In addition to this, students whose native language is not an English they must have a minimum TOFEL score of 536 on paper based exam, 208 on computer based exam, 65-78 on internet based exam.
