The program is a 12 month program designed for second-degree students interested in making a career change. Students may be accepted into the program with any associate, baccalaureate, or higher degree from an accredited institution that meets the Texas Core requirements. The program is an intensive, full-time course of study which is identical in content to the traditional program, just offered at an accelerated rate.

Students applying for this program must have official transcripts from the schools or colleges attended. If English is the secondary language of the students then they must write SAT or Act exams. If English is not the secondary language of the students then they must write TOEFL exams. Applicants whose primary language is Spanish and who lack the proficiency in English must write PAA (Prueba de Aptitud Academica). The minimum required test scores: for - SAT 920, for ACT - 20 and for TOEFL - 500. For Spanish students the minimum TOEFL score is 1000. These test scores must be sent to the university directly by the testing agency.
